💛 Visiting Day — What to Bring, What to Know, What to Skip
Visiting Day: the mid-summer reunion we’ve all been counting down to.
You’ll cry. You’ll hug. You’ll say “you’ve grown!” three times.
What to Bring:
🧺 A picnic blanket + easy snacks (if camp allows)
🎁 A small gift bag — think socks, stickers, or a new hat
📸 A charged phone for photos
💧 Water + wipes (trust us on this one)
What to Know:
-
Camps have strict visiting hours. Don’t be that mom tailgating at 7 AM. 😉
-
The camp store will tempt you. Pace yourself.
-
Expect emotions. They’ll be thrilled to see you and sad when you go — both are normal.
What to Skip:
🚫 Over-packing. You’re not moving in.
🚫 Long goodbyes. Hugs, love, go. Let counselors handle the tears.
